Come along to Skills Northern Ireland and you’ll be inspired and motivated. Open to young people, families and teachers, the event will help you to consider a range of careers and the various pathways to achieve future success. A visit will ensure you get the best possible start to your career; you’ll be encouraged to make good decisions based on impartial information and advice about your future.

Group Visits

Our team are already talking to careers teachers and decision makers in Northern Ireland to arrange group visits for students in Years 11, 12, 13 & 14. All schools and colleges in Northern Ireland are invited to attend with free entry for students and teachers and access to a travel bursary fund. Online resources including a lesson plan, career match quiz, student passport and health and safety information, which remove any barriers ensuring great benefits that last long after the event.

We are here to help make your visit as easy as possible so if you have any questions, just ask!

A travel bursary is available to groups of 50 or more visiting Skills Northern Ireland and is payable following attendance at the event. £2 per student is available up to 200 students, after this a £1 per student travel bursary will apply.

The bursary is based on actual numbers attending and an application form will be emailed to all group leaders after the event. Bursary forms are also available during your visit at the registration desk.

The evening opening is open to anyone, but we encourage parents and family groups to visit, enabling you as an important influencer to get up to date help, advice and guidance from the experts and help your young person make the right future career decisions.
